Bicycling in Japan

Brad, Yoshiko and I have been cycling around Japan for decades and have seen a great deal of this beautiful country from our bicycles.  In the summer of 1978 we went on our first ride with our students.  Yoshiko, Debbie, Sophie and I cycled from Tokyo to Kamogawa on the west coast of the Chiba peninsula.  That was the start of over 30 years of incredible bicycle trips with students and families that has taken us around Kyushu, Shikoku and much of Honshu.

We know that the best way to really experience the countryside is from the seat of a bicycle.  Great scenery, great people, and you get exercise for free.

More on our great bicycling adventures coming in late August.  Please stay tuned.
